How would you feel if you were blind?

When I was 17 years old, I had this car accident and the skin near my eyes were wounded and I can't see just for 3 days because of the bandage wrapped in my eyes. Being blind was never easy, It's as if you wanna die. I felt that there's no reason for me to live. I pity those who are blind but I admire them and envy them for being very courageous to face the world without light. How would you feel if you were a blind man?
