I agree. I have been lucky enough to find several brands of heels that are comfortable and that I wear when I want to look nice. I feel that looking alittle taller helps with that. It not easy for women to wear heels but if they are fitted right and are comfortable it makes all the differnece in the world. If they pinch and are ill fitting then it is like hell on earth. You feel like your bones are coming through the bottom of your feet. Awful.

Yes, I think it pays in the long run to pay alittle more for a well fitting pair of heels that are comfortable.

I find them very uncomfortable and only wear them if I have to.They actually cripple your feet after a while if you wear them to often, bunions and bad feet are something I would find hard to cope with, also high heels will give you a bad back if worn to often.

before i was not, i always flat shoes or most of the time rubber shoes. when i got involved in real estate and there were a lot of functions to attend to, i started wearing high heeled shoes, and i really liked it. now i am used to wearing high heeled shoes, i have a few of them here. sometimes when going to the mall i wear high heels it makes me feel sexy... lol... and taller, and confident of myself.

I'm a male also so nope, I don't wear them...lol. I do notice women who do wear them and what I see is that they appear very confident in themselves. My opinion is that if it makes you feel good wearing them, then do it. If it hurts your feet then you shouldn't. As a male I tend to be more attracted to short women who wear them and don't understand why a tall woman would if it puts her head above everyone else's. Look a t a photo of a wedding where the bride wears high heels and ends up taller than the groom...that looks so weird to me. Like I said though, if it feels good then do it.

I'm 5'1". High heels (the higher the better) are my best friends. My friends always wonder how I can stand wearing them all the time, but since I think they're really cute (and they also put me within vision of normal-height or tall people so I don't get stepped on or tripped over), I've gotten used to the pain ha.

I wish I could wear high heels, but I have these wide feet and I have bunions, so I have to wear those horrible old lady shoes. I can get away in the summer, because I can wear sandals and there are some nice ones out there, but most of the time, in the winter, I either wear boots or horrible looking pumps that either hurt my toes, or I look like a grandma. Not that I am not one, I am, but I do not want to look the same or older then my age.

Hmm.... high heels ... I used to have no problems wearing them as long as they were not extremely high. It felt comfortable and I walked perfectly well on them. I used them every day for work and if I went out at night.
Lately however, maybe because I gained weight, I don't feel as comfortable on high heels as I used to before.
True things are a bit different here from back home. Back home people were high heels more often and use flats only for leisure and informal occasions. But in here flats or running shoes are acceptable basically everywhere and I got used to wear them to the point that I really avoid high heels now.

Confident? They add to y confidence. Since a severe back injury a few years ago, I seldom wear them anymore. I'm less than 5' tall, so I always felt that heels were an improvement. Now I just find pretty flat shoes most of the time and wave at more than 200 pairs of very high heels when I pass the closet they're in!

I wore them all the time, except for working out or cleaning the house. They were just part of the routine.

I wear high heels when I have to go somewhere special. But I don't wear them all the time. They can tend to hurt the feet and cramp them up. Even though I love high heels.

My daughter can wear high heels all the time. And they don't bother her feet much. Her grandmother is the same way. But me now I am different. They can tend to hurt my feet after a while.

i'm like you, not so confident of wearing high heels.actually, for me it's more about comfort.i'm not comfortable wearing high heels such as stilletos or even pumps. though they say they make a woman look sexier, i still don't wear high heels that often. for me comfort should be top priority. it's a good thing we have more choices than ever when it comes to footwear/shoes. there are now stylish sandals and slip-ons that provides comfort to our feet and give them that sexy advantage as well.

I feel pretty confident in heels...I wore them to work a lot in the office. I feel dressy and I like the way they look! I don't wear the ones that are skyhigh, cos that takes away my confidence...I can't walk in thoseLOL! I don't wear them as much since I'm not in an office anymore. Take care!!!

I am a male hence I dont wear the high heals but as I personally feel you should avoid wearing high heals all the time as it affects your eye sight and secondly its also uncomfortable to walk hurriedly or climb up the stairs... may be I am wrong but I personally dont see anything wrong in you when you dont wear high heals daily

I prefer comfort to style so I don't wear high heels that much. The highest I would probably be willing to wear when there is an occasion is 2 inches high and I don't wear it for long hours. I think it really kills the legs. I don't know how others are able to wear high heels the whole day and still be able to walk properly at night. For me its not really about the confidence, I may get a bit conscious since I am not used to wearing high heels, but I do not see the point of wearing heels in everyday situations.

Hi bench! I don't wear high heels often because I am not comfy with it and I don't have a good balance, sometimes when I'm wearing one, I felt that I walk funny, lol. I have high heels and I only wear them when I'm going is some special occasions. And sometimes wearing heels hurts my feet even I don't walk a lot, lol.

It has been several years since I have worn high heels. My feet have gotten worse over the years and if I put on high heels now it causes me extreme pain. It is not worth it for me to try and wear them now. Plus I don't dress up like I use to or go out to nice places so most of my dress is casual and I like to be comfortable, so no heels for me!

I prefers ballet style flats. Being a single mother I found that these types of shoes are a lot easier on my feet when I have to cart around a purse, diaper bag, a toddler, preschooler, 7 year old, and a bag of recent shopping purchases. Haha, I think anyone trying to cart all that would soon opt for flats... if not sneakers! I also like to wear flip flops. It's not that I don't like wearing heels, they are just not very practical for me to wear right now.

I am very confident when I wear high heels well I have been wearing them for more than 5 years now so I am okay with it though I will always escape from the high heel to something very light when I am back at home. I can even run with high heels which my boyfriend finds very amazing, I remember we had to cross the street and I was running really fast with the high heel and I find it okay as far as I can o it. In the office I have to wear it but once at home I will put it aside to walk either barefooted ot with something real light.

I wear high heeled boots when i go out you know like the ankle boots. The reason i wear the high heels is to make me look taller.I think i walk very well in them.I wear high heels during the week if i have to go any where as i do not feel happy with a small heel.I have always worn high heels even when i was only 16 years old.
