There can be several reasons for this.
Might be you are under stressed condition, or you have some anxiety.
Some sort of tension on your mind!
Try to meditate and relax.

No! Not at all.. This happens with me every time when I have to face an exam.
But I can't sit and meditate rather than studying! I take a quarter of sleeping pill and that helps me. But in this case, I suggest her to go for yogic practices.

Sometimes I sleep more than 8 hours a day. I been to the doctor and she does nothing about my insomnia but tells me to try reading and etc.
Like last night i was in bed at 10 30 pm and slept until 6 am. Then same day I slept from 6 pm to 10 pm woke up for 30 minutes fell back to sleep from 11 pm to 2 am.
I am always sleeping in chunks...

I suggest you to drink some milk before going to bed ... large cup of milk ...
it really helps ... you can also do some training before going to sleep so it will make you very tired and induce sleeping ...
if this doesn't work you have to visit a doctor ... because some diseases such as hyperthyroidism may prevent you from sleeping !!!
happy myloting and have a nice day ...

Have you tried any of those herbal products like Valerian standardized extract by nature's way. But before you try that you should see a doctor because a sleep disorder could very likely be a sign of something much more serious. Try visiting one of those online symptom checker sites and try to narrow it down to what might actually be wrong with you. Are you suffering from some emotional problems or some mental crisis of some kind, based on those sleep patterns...
