This is so usual. I too have the same kinda problem. Don't get worried. The best solution for this is YOGA. If you know a good Yoga master, then take his assistance to practice yoga. It has all the solutions within, for all your problems. This is serious. Don't ignore my response. Do practice yoga. It not only helps you come out of this problem but also helps you in many ways. I'ma also a student. Students benefit a lot from Yoga. You get good concentration, good memory power, good relaxation, etc. You get all good things. It also helps you control your mind. You can do wonders. I'm gonna start a new discussion based on the power of Yoga. Read it and know its power. Good luck!

Wow, I never knew about yoga and its the first time I heard someone say something useful about this. +1 for you... although I don't have any memory problems and there are simple ways to remember things. You need to relate it to something solid, something that you can see and feel. I remember an exercise during high school and we were asked to tie a string around our pinky finger to remind ourselves of something that we have to bring and only remove it once you remember what you need to do. It kind of helps some of our classmates. Of course it doesn't have to be a string always, tell yourself that if I see "something specific", I'll remember "this." That kind of thing. Its a slow process but it works if he'll be devoted to it.

Hey, I'm not just talking about memory problem. Yoga helps you a lot. Try it. Only then you can know why I say this. Why do you take different diseases if one single medicine can cure all?

Medical courses are really hard..so if you really cant do it..you better change or you'll just stress so much your body..there are certain causes of loosing memory.. 1. Its a sign of changing, maybe your over stressing your self. 2. Did you ever had operations b4..because when anesthesia is injected in your body, they numb your nerves, after when they numb other nerve cells die. and nerve cells are the only kinds of cells that dont regenerate. thats why as you grow older, your losing your memory, coz as you grow your nerve cells die. 3. Maybe you like junk foods or you eat a a lot of them, they make your brain dull.. I hope this helps..have a nice day..:D

I know some exercises. You may follow it. Solve puzzles and riddles. This may good for your brain is that they force you to think in different ways to what you normally do. Give your brain new experiences, your brainwill learn and develpo as ypi feed it new experiences. Involve all your senses, when you involve more of your senses the brain has more tags to remember the experience by. Visualization is another good exercise for your brain. Try to visualize something from your childhood, your first day of school, lie in bed before you fall asleep. Visualization helps to stimulate the mind and can also help you to relax by distrating you from everyday worries and stressess. Wish you recover in no time.

Eat beans and peanuts constantly. A bar of chocolate while studying for an exam.

OMG! How come suddenly you are forgetting everything…is your exams nearby and you don’t want to sit for them? But seriously, I hope you have not had any head injury recently…otherwise I can think of no plausible explanation for sudden memory loss in an adult individual. You can always check with the other doctors of your college.

I always thought it was because mybrain was full! I have been struggling with memory problems now partly due to my Narclepsy. Are you having trouble sleeping, or not sleeping much? Stress could also be a major factor. No matter the cause, the previous idea, YOGA, will help you relax and focus. If you prefer a chemical solution: cut back on tea/coffee/cola and try vitamins with Ginseng and Gingko-Biloba. Of course, if it gets serious enough, and especially if it is accompanied by migraines, blurry vision or balance issues, get yourself to a doctor. A few simple tests will rule out serious issues and at least make you feel better about what it is not. Good Luck!

I've had the exact same issue. I can't remember things from 10 minutes ago. I even loose my train of thought EVERY time I speak. I wish I had an answer but I haven't been given one yet.

that's actually weird. but if you are studying medicine and you don't know why, i don't think we will be able to help you. maybe you should go see a doctor and explain him your problem... there are some memory exercises you can find on the web... plus doing sudoku and crossword seems to help. my grandma was losing her memory too, due to old age though, and when she started doing those mental exercises she did got better. hope i helped.
