We finally decide to get marry, and we're really really excited. So we announce our engagement to all of our friends. But when we came to planning stage we decide to have it at the beach... 2hrs flight from Metro Manila. We wish that all of our friends to be there, but destination wedding is quite expensive for our guest. So they should be inform months before the wedding, so they can prepare their fares and schedules, right?
So how early should we distribute our save-the-dates? The wedding will be on 24th of May next year?
Oh! and if making an invitation for destination wedding, what should be included?
Really your comments means a lot to me.. Thanks! Happy MyLotting everyone!

I guess you could distribute you wedding invitations at least two months before the wedding. It could give them enough time to save and plan where to stay, etc. I think a perfect invitation would be a kit having a sunblock, shampoo and soap in a beach bag together with the wedding invitations, maps, places where they could stay, and what are the activities they could do in the area. You may opt to have an airplane ticket look a like invitation with the names of your guest written on it. It would look more personal and cute. Or you may tell your guests in advance like in a christmas party that'll you be having a destination wedding, some details about it so they could have a lot of time saving.
