after the outset of the world champions Australia.....from the ongoing t20 world cup....countries like Ireland and Holland have entered the super 8 round of the world cup.....these two countries entered the tournament like the under dogs and have come up very well Holland defeating the country which is know as the home land of cricket england....and Ireland defeating the minos Bangladesh in their opener match.....but as the Irish captain said that they had entered the tournament to defeat Bangladesh....and which they did.....for the Irish people it is like winning the world cup....Holland will take on Pakistan today.....for Pakistan it is do or die match if they lose today then they are out........so guys what is your take on this new kid.....can they defeat countries like India, New Zealand......

yes Ireland had targeted Bangladesh to reach the super 8 but i would not call Bangladesh as a minnow. they just do not seem to play to their potential on a consistent basis and keep repeating the same mistakes again and again. that is the reason they are not consistent. but only Ireland has made it to the super 8 while Netherlands has been knocked out of the tournament after their loss to Pakistan. i think the people of Ireland will not be too surprised that they have won against Bangladesh after their performance in the 2007 world cup when they beat Pakistan and Bangladesh. the real test is now against the top teams and it remains to be seen how they perform against them.

thank you pratik for your reply......yes Bangladesh is certainly not the minos....they are a big team....and yes i agree with you that they do same old mistakes again and again......yes and the real test for ireland is in the super 8 with 3 of the giants in its way.......
