What is the strangest thing one of your pets has done?

Staphi - This bunny is one of our quirkiest pets yet, I think. He's the first bunny either of us has ever had and he sure has a personality! He doesn't like you petting him or touching him unless it suits him. He'll let you know if he wants to be pet and likewise he'll let you know when you're done petting him!...lol.

My fiance and I were talking last night about our pets. You see, we have a cat that we adopted from the shelter (Asriel) and a bunny we bought from the pet store (Staphi). The bunny came first, but then we decided we wanted a cat and we were worried about how the two would react. Last night they finally got to meet each other in open space with the bunny out of his cage and running around and they got along ok...except Asriel kept swatting Staphi in the face to get him to play and Staphi wasn't very happy about it. xD But then we got to talking about all the other pets we've owned (both of our families are very pet oriented, so we've had numerous cats and dogs over our lives) and how they're always quite special with very interesting quirks. For example, our current pug (Chow Ling) likes to fall asleep with his head in Jake's shoes...lol. I was wondering how many of you have pets that have interesting quirks? What was the strangest thing one of your pets has done?

My dog gets excited and when he does he picks up a sock and takes it outside. I have had to pick up all kinds of socks outside. it is really funny when he does this, whenever I am looking for a sock I can ususally find it outside. It is a funny trait. The cat once picked up a hot dog and brought it to me in the living room.

Oh wow. That's really interesting. I've never heard of a dog doing that before. :) Do you know of anything that might have started that? It's funny, though I can see how it might be a bit annoying having to go outside to find your socks. :P

We had a cat that evertime the fax machine would go off he would start batting at it with his paws and hissing at it until it shut off. We would get the biggest kick out of it.

LOL! My cat, Pendragon, who now lives with my father, loved to do that when the printer turned on. He actually liked to sleep ON the printer while someone was on the computer, so if we went to print anything and it kicked on he would freak out and jump about a foot in the air and then attack it. xD
