How often do you wash your car?

I helped my hubby washed both of his car last week, not just wash wash but cleaned it with soap, rubbed it and waxed it. It took me almost 3 hours for each car. Where I live in very dusty and we don't have a garage so the cars are always full of dusty and the stuff falls from the tree. Summer is coming so I washed his car so he can show off (hahahahahahaha). So how frequent do you wash your car?

Hello mermaidivy, I always send my car to car wash once a week. So, does it count? Well, if I go back to my mother's house, my husband and I will take the time to be together - washing, polishing and waxing the car. We love to play with water, bubbles and throwing sponges to each other and I think my toddler will join us soon. We always end up getting wet ourselves; just like the car. When I was single, I liked to wash my car and it normally took me more than an hour just to wash and wipe clean the car!

I just washed my car and my fiance's car over the weekend. I have to wash my car often because I live on a dirt road. I really enjoy though getting out there in my swimsuit getting wet and showing off in front of my fiance. He loves watching me. I try to wash my car though at least once a month if not more.

I wash my car about twice a year. This is not because it doesn't get dirty, because it does, it's just that my attitude is that my car is to get me from A to B. I don't mind it looking dirty, although the inside is kept rubbish-free. When I do wash it I just use a small amount of water by using a little plant sprayer to loosen the dirt, then a wet cloth, then a dry cloth - that way I'm saving water.

My husband FULLY washes our car about once every three or so days! ! ! He's a car clean freak. LoL.. But I must say, our car is very nice, we've owned it for over 6 months now and it still looks like we JUST drove it off of the car dealership lot!

When I got my brand new car, I washed it every week. Now, it is whenever I have time or I get irritate at how dirty it is. It is amazing how dirty it gets even though it doesn't rain. I hate polishing the car but it always looks so good after it.

I don't wash my car nearly enough. It's getting very dirty. It's been raining a lot lately so it's hard to get it done.

Hi mermaidivy, my car gets washed every time it rains when I am driving it. On Sunday I got caught in a really severe thunder storm with torrential rain so it is looking nice and clean. It is a Mercedes which I bought new over 16 years ago. It has probably been properly washed less than 10 times.
