Is it writing something you know will make you some money, journaling and expressing your feelings on paper, the steps you take to write your best written work, or texting and just writing afew sentences here and there for fun? Which is more interesting and fun for you?

Personally, I love writing in general. Since I first started writing (age 4) I've been writing non stop. I love poetry and fiction writing most though.

Good for you. I enjoy journaling mostly. The other is nice but journaling is more satisfying for me.

I had not written poetry in many years. I found a poem kind of hatching itself this year and it was very satisfying to finish it.

I probably like creative writing the best, but I dont usually get a chance to write creatively because I am always busy trying to make money on line and that is usually done by writing reviews or writing on asocial forum. I think that to write creatively on the web you have to be really good.

It varies with my mood. Sometimes its just so good to write down your feelings - to get everything off your chest without anyone interrupting or trying to calm you down... or to tell someone how much they mean to you without worrying that you might cry and fall apart in front of them. Writing a letter to someone you know will appreciate the care and thought you've put into it or will be cheered up by receiving it. Just writing something personal, a bit more than 'Best Wishes' in a greeting card... I dont know...I love to talk and tend to write the way I'm thinking & would be talking (does that make sense???)

Yes, I think it varies with my mood as well. Having severe depression my journaling is the most satisfying for me most of the time.

I love writing in general. I keep a diary, and I think it is a great way to express my thoughts and feelings. I also like to write about the things that happen in my life. Sometimes I write poems and short stories. In some periods of my life I write many poems and in other periods I don't write much. I also like to write posts on online forums and I have been a member of many differnet sites. In the past I only wrote for fun, but now I enjoy to make a bit of money that way. I have always written many letters and emails and I love to write long letters to my friends.

I've written a few pieces published locally for a pagan ezine here in the Twin Cities. I also blog online, write for several forums for which I am not paid, as well as an online advise column (no salary or earnings). I also keep five journals as I separate my journaling into several areas of work that I'm doing.
Due to a huge computer crash last year I'm waiting on the monies needed to do a level three retrieval through Geek Squad to try to recover the children's books I was working on. One was complete, and the other half finished. It is my hopes that we'll recover them, if not I'll begin them again when my master thesis work is complete this upcoming school year. I also recently found a manuscript I wrote in my teens that has surfaced once again. An author friend gave me some pointers on development and I'm working through the hard copy right now making notes. It's more a fantasy, but it was my first creation and is really quite good for being started in my teens.
I also write here of course, and I find that even though I do make monies on here that most of my motivation comes from helping other people. I enjoy trying to find resources for people, encourage people, and be a friend to people. I can't say that I have a particular favorite because I enjoy writing.

How interesting. A pagan ezine,eh? I will have to check it out! I had a friend that lost several online manuscripts. I was heart sick for her. I know what goes into writing and it would be bery hard to lose all of your work. I use a thumb drive and it is marvelous. I would reccoment one of these to anyone who doesn't want to lose such work. I enjoy different types of writing in different moods.

I have several of those little pop in drives, but they weren't large enough for the volumes of work we've done for our organization. It was the only files, plus picture files that weren't moved yet, and lost. (Though thankfully some pictures managed to be up on my Myspace account). Anyhow, the store recommended an external hard drive, but the one for this pc that I'm working on needs to be an older model (haven't checked out the hubby's laptop), so right now I'm saving my Mylot earnings to get the external one for my laptop so it doesn't occur again. Though, probably by the time I get that one, I'll need to buy a new laptop lol. This one is three years old! Oh well, that's technology huh?!
And yes, it's been very frustrating, yet it had its silver lining. My husband got a new start on his books, and the new writing is more to his liking! So, I feel that it will all work out the way it should work out.

I like writing tips in articles. I would like to find all sorts of tips thatpeople generally do not know and to put it in the form of an article people do not know about. Other than that I would love to writev personal experiences too.

I write to make money also. I don't feel I am very good at blogging. I have tried my hand at it but I don't feel I do very well and haven't made any money at it either. We all have our talents.

My writing varies for what ever comes in my mind. It can be either topics on technology, poetry, movies and much more. I find it more interesting and fun just enjoying Mylot, because it helps me realize that I can speak of anything I want in this site.

Personally, I find myself enjoying writing editorials. I love taking something out of the news, taking it out of content or rehashing what someone says to make it funny. I wish sites would pay upfront for editorials. There are so many funny things we do in life and they really need to be laughed at, even ironically.
Ex. Today parents of pre-k kids were to make "donations" for take out for their children to eat. I have a funny feeling I was the only one who sent in money. I gave the teacher $10 this morning and she asked me what it was for. I told her that was my donation for lunch. I thought she was going to fall on the floor, she acted shocked and it was genuine. I don't understand why she should be shocked when she asked for donations for two days worth of food. That should have more than covered it. It was McD's.

I've always been inspired by writing as to the fact that there is no limit to the imagination. You could write anything you wanted to whether it was published or not I'm sure it would be nice to make money off it especially this day and age, but it's the satisfaction of finishing something you worked on very hard that pays off the most. I personally have written a few short stories myself and currently working on my first novel. I'm more partial to horror and sci fi genre which to me can make the most use of one's imagination. I have 3 completed short stories that I worked very hard on and continue to write, it also helps pass some good time

Well, it is good you are doing this. You have to be very critical of your own work to be good. I really believe this. Good for you. Keep it up. Any type of writing is good.

I love writing in general. I started out writing poetry and stories. These are my most loved forms of writing. I tried to journal but I just wasn't persistant enough to do it everyday. Time is of the essence for me too. I just couldn't find time to journal. I have just recently started writing for money..articles and such. It does give me a certain satisfaction to have my articles paid for..but it's a different kind of satisfaction than the writing of poetry and stories.

I like writing.i need to write to express my feelings and tell people what my opinions are ,and meanwhile it is a great way to relax, and sometimes it could be very interesting.
I think money is also a very important motivation for my writing,if i can earn enough money by writing ,i can write better, because i needn't worried about my next meal.
Actually ,i like writing everything for now. When we are writing,we are learning.

Writing comes from the heart. I write about things I feel about.
