Why Do We Eat Popcorns While Watching A Movie ?

hmmm maybe its just a tradition from a long time ago. But i always bring any food while watching movies,not only just pop corn,hehe

I like eating pop corn also while watching a movie. I think we like it because it is already a notion of people that it is the partner of movie. Plus, it will last for many minutes, you can eat slowly one piece of popcorn one at a time while concentrating the movie. It is not hard and it seems that you are not eating at all but you have something in your mouth.

To tell you the truth I am not a big fan of popcorn even when I am watching a movie and it is right in front of me and I am watching a movie. There's something about popcorn I don't really care for.

i think popcorn is that equal or that ying to the yang u kno , when eatting it at a movie or watching movies in our own homes , like how would a new movie theater be built in someones town with having popcorn on the menu? lol thats dang near insulting , i think it would be a very scary place if popcorn wasnt that 1 must need food a the movies , like , what if instead of popcorn it was pickles ?!

Hello newuser4u , I do not buy popcorn at the theater but I get reeses pieces if the theater sells it. I will make popcorn at home if I am watching a movie but not all the time. I do not liken theater popcorn because they always want to add butter and I don't like butter on my popcorn.Ive requested no butter but the last time they still put butter on it.

Probably because you can eat it without really paying attention to it and it's not as messy as some other snacks. Personally I'm not really a fan of popcorn.

idk...i think its a good snack to eat when youre at the movies. its salty...and its just good with candy and pop...lol but if you think about it...the movie theaters prolly sell it so that you buy more soda...or you get a soda with it...so then they make more money! lol just a thought.

Personally i would rather have something else but my boyfriend loves theater popcorn, so if we are staying home to watch a movie in the evening, then we normally stop and get theater popcorn.
