Do you eat frozen(TV) dinners often? If so, do you eat them out of the plastic tray from the box after heating them or do you empty the tray onto a plate before eating them? I always just eat them from the tray but I put the tray on a plate before microwaving them and leave them the tray on the plate when I eat them just in case something boils out or runs over.

Convenience is the main reason I get them. So I can take a week off from cooking and have something that is fast to fix. I like a couple of Lean Cuisine but wish they had more that did not have mushrooms and/or garlic since I don't like either of those.

Hello stealthy, I do eat frozen tv dinners but not very often. We try to keep some in the freezer in case someone has something to eat if there is nothing else in the house. I normally cook it in the oven but once in awhile I will use the microwave if I just have to have something right now, but that's rare.In the oven I put them on a cookie sheet to catch over spills. I don't use anything in the microwave oven.

i do eat frozen tv dinners often. not as often as i used to though. but just like you, i leave them in the container they come in, and then stick them on a plate, if they spill, and simply cuz those little plastic containers get very very hot haha. some have their opinions that tv dinners are not healthy (my mother is one of them), but they are quick, convieniant and lets face it, they do make ones that are healthy, and some that aren't so healthy, but in parts of it they are lol. i don't see anything wrong with eating them, especially when they are so freaking cheap to buy.!!

I used to eat them all the time! But we don't get them any more. I've never thought of emptying them onto a plate before. The tray has always worked just fine, and thats where I eat them from. I don't even put a plate under it.
