so what if adam lambert is gay?

It really didn't surprise me that Adam Lambert revealed that he was gay. Honestly I could care less if he is or not. The main point is he is very talented, I enjoy his music, his singing, he's got a great swagger, he might be rude or hard to work with according to the press, but still guys got an awesome voice. I really liked how he recorded and performed the song live of "Mad World". I watched Season 8 American Idol from the beginning to end. It didn't matter to me if he won the American Idol or not because obviously he is beyond it and a lot more talented than Kris Allen. I'm looking forward in buying his debut album when it comes out.

I thought it was pretty obvious. When I saw him for the first time, I thought he must be gay. And I was right...I don't think it will affect his career too much.

He is gay...finally he admitted it to the general public. At least he is not hiding in the closet anymore. Good for him. He can now live the life he wanted.

Wow,to be honest,i am a little surprised to hear the news.But i think it really doesn't matter if he indeed is gay,it is not a big deal,why did someone make it a fuss?He really is a talented guy,he has an amazming vocal style and great singing techniques,i like him. Actually ,i think he should have won American Idol,and now i think this maybe the reason why he lost.What a pity .Juat wish him a great success.

Hi roniroxas, I agree, Adam has the most awesome singing voice, and I was so surprised that he didn't win American Idol. I sure hope he wasn't passed over just because of his preferences. As far as Clay Aiken coming out when he did, I've always been a bit curious, but whether it was a good move or not, I have no idea. I'm glad you posted this interesting info. By the way, "Ring of Fire," sung by Adam,is the most beautiful version I've ever heard. His octive range is like no other I've heard.

It might hurt his career a little bit. Only because now all the teen girls that were lusting after him will be disappointed lol. I think it is good he came out with it right away and is happy with who he is. I didn't watch the show but from what I understand most people thought he was gay the whole time.

I am with you, what does it really matter that this Lambert is gay? Doesn't keep him from singing any better, even though I have never heard him. I saw this story on yahoo news yesterday, and I was like so what? But then again, I agree with your latter statement too, at least he didn't wait forever to come out of an invisible closet like Clay Aiken did. I mean come on, we all knew Clay was gay when he was competing. I think he had just realized it himself last year, although we all knew it way before hand. This will definitely affect Lambert's career, but as far as whether that will be positive or negative remains to be seen. There will be opposition from people who hate gays/lesbians, but also there will be support from the gay/lesbian community. One will have to find out in tme which is stronger.

I am not really a fan of Adam Lambart... and during the second time that i saw him... i immediately thought that he is gay... but he is very talented... and can sing his heart out... i just don't like the glam rock type that he is... i am more of the subdued type like Kris Allen...

Hi roni, to me it doesn't matter if someone is of either gender, that is no the point in any of these talent contests, it is the talent as you say that counts and if someone is a worthy winner only of one type then they should win, it should never affect the judges decision in the matter. I do believe that many people who that way have won contests but once again it is down to the judges and people who vote as to who does win..I have neveer heard of Clay Aitkin but does it really matter about his personal life? I don't think so...LoLo

This won't hurt his career. The kid is talented. People like him and him being gay will only turn away his fans that don't like that. But still. I think he made the right choice. There was a lot of speculation going around. so its not like people didn't know. He's fine. And ill listen to him even though he's gay. It really doesn't matter to me. Happy Mylotting!

Well, I thought that it was really obvious. I mean, it's been months after hos picture scandal (when he was making out with the guy.) Wow. Maybe it was just me ahead of my time? I don't know. Maybe it's because I used common sense. But I'm not going to say anything about the comments that mention him wearing eyeliner. Many guys do. And they are pretty straight. But yeah, glad it's out there that out there even thought most people already knew. Maybe he's just "coming out" again for the people in denial. I remember when I first saw him, I thought he was very pleasing to the eye. Well, until I found out that he was gay, but he's still really cute and talented. Just because he's gay doesn't mean I'm not going to support his music, if I like it.

Actualy, i dont know the person you are talking about but from the discussions i found he is a male singer who found to be gay. Public is always curious to know about the personal life of celebritiesg, and such news make them more popular. Well, we should see the real talent inspite of anybody's sexuality. As we are not having any physical relation with that person ,we are just bounded to his melodious voice, so let it be. We should be tensed if a news comes that he is having some problem in his throat. Happy mylotting!!!

Yeah I'm not really sure...I think he's AMAZING no matter what...I couldn't care less if a person is gay or not...who cares? I just cannot imagine the people that now will not buy his music JUST because of his sexuality...
