my favorite children's book is Ferdinand the Bull by Munro Leaf. It is a heart felt tale of a bull who is expected to fight, and he rather smell the flowers and live in peace. this ferocious looking creature sits under his favorite tree and spends time with the butterflies. it is a great message to children to show them to love is important, and to hate is ugly.
