duped by Hyundai

one year back i purchased a Hyundai i10 from one of their local dealers in India, after exchanging my old maruti 800 for which i was promised an exchange bonus of Rs. 10000, a sum which they assured would reach me through a cheque. but even after a year when no such money was given to me, i enquired with the concerned people who said that the necessary papers required for the exchange bonus was never given to them by the sales consultant with whom i was dealing at that time. it is a fact that i had entrusted all necessary papers to that person. unfortunately, that sales consultant is no longer in their employment. the dealer is using this as an excuse not to give me my dues. since i know the sales consultant personally, i had called him up to find out about the affair. He is positive that he had given all the papers submitted by me to the concerned department. what's more, he said that mine was not the first case in this regard. the dealer is playing such dirty games with a lot more people regarding non sanctioning of promised exchange bonus. what is frustrating and disgusting is the fact the dealer or his staff is not able to give a convincing answer and neither are they letting out telephone numbers of responsible people of Hyundai Motors India Ltd. yesterday, i have mailed the complaint cell of Hyundai motors India ltd a complaint letter through their website. i hope someting positive turns up. i hate getting duped like this. i feel i should fight for my rights and should not let them get away with this sort of unscruplous behaviour. has anyone of you come across such problems? how do i proceed further if no one takes required action?

Consumer Forum is the only hope for you to get refund. Please submit all your supportive documents to them and I am sure you get back your amount, may be with some interest. Good luck.

thanks for the positive response. i really hope i can get back the money. but even more than the money part, i am really angry at those guys for thier downright cheap tricks they are playing on customers. i really hope other victims too come out with their complaints.
