On your own

I definitely am dreaming of having my own place to myself and my family. A few years back I had paid for my own place with a nice view with 2 bedrooms and everything I dreamed of. But something not expected happened and had to stay with my in-laws thus today I am still here with them. The very reason I wanted a place that I call my own so that I can experience the hardship and all. I want to have that feeling of my own place and that I can do whatever I want even if it is small. Soon I will get the place that I want and I will try my best to make it the best for my son.

I lived on my own for a while after leaving home and whilst at University - I rented a little house in Manchester. Over the years I've also spent time away on my own travelling - the longest being a 2 month spell in Northern Canada and Alaska. I don't mind being on my own because I was always pretty self-contained as a child. The trick for me is to be able to do it and comfortable living on my own, whilst preferring to share my life with my wife. Best of both worlds!

Hi there! I remember feeling that way when I was sixteen years old. I just graduated from high school and will be moving on to college and I was bugging my parents about letting me live alone in an apartment near the university where I was planning to enroll. Well, they won't allow me to and one the scheduled week of admission exam, I had chickenpox. I wasn't able to give it a try and just settled for a nearby college instead.

when i was younger yes... that was when i was in college and was working at the same time. i wanted to live on my own and be resposnible for myself and for whatever i am going to do. but it did not come true, as it would look selfish on my part because my family still needed me to be there with them, help in everything, most especially on the financial part.

I have always wanted to live on my own. I'd like to do it abroad though.
