Bullying in the office?

While a tyrannical boss may get things done quickly, will this management style become unproductive in the long run?
Most often than not, bullying in the work place is not even recognized as a problem. It is ignored rather than confronted, but victims have options in seeking redress. When this happens, a subordinate would likely be raring to tell the bullying boss that A true leader earns his respect and doesn't demand it. But, for fear of losing the job, would a subordinate ever?
