When I resign, I always ensure there is smooth transition for my previous company. Try to handover as much as knowledge and information I have accumulated over the years to the person taking over from me. I always keep in touch with my previous colleagues. Most my jobs I get are through my friends/ former colleagues. Also, I leave with new hopes and happiness about my new job.
