I don't ever listen to audio books. It's not that I don't like them. I just kind of forget about them. We always listen to our IPod, which only has music on it. Audio books are pretty expensive as well. I usually think about going to the library and getting some before long trips, but then I forget to do that too. I guess I will never learn!

Yes, I definitely do. I love audio books. The music on the radio these days really stinks these days. I can't stand all that repetitive stuff. So I prefer to listen to audio books. I have one going in my car at all times. They are really great for traveling, you can listen to a whole story as you are going to where ever you are going. I like that.

It's an easy way to pass the time while driving, especially on long trips. Right now my cassette player isn't working but when it was I would borrow tapes from the library to listen to while driving.
Actually I think I prefer the tapes to the radio...

I would prefer to read the book but I have been listening to a lot of audiobooks lately. I have a very mundane job in the legal industry and all I do is file file file. Audiobooks really help with mundane jobs because there's a limit to how much music a person can listen to. Oh and some libraries offer free audiobook downloads. You should look into that in your area. Hope this helped.

The only audio book I've heard is the one that teaches Japanese. I haven't finished it too because I can't concentrate on it when I'm doing something else. As for audio novel books, I never had one. I think I'll actually enjoy it if I could get a good copy of something. I'd probably listen to it while I'm jogging :D
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I think they are a great idea but not for everyone. Whenever I've tried listening to audio books I always feel like I have missed something that I get from reading the actual book. But I can definitely see how they are beneficial when you have long journeys to undertake.
