Individual songs VS. full albums

With the huge MP3 libraries that most of us have now, it's very easy to throw it on shuffle, or to skip around and listen to the songs you want, whenever you feel the urge. I do believe the vast majority of people do this. Especially with iPods and everything, we pick and choose all of our favorite songs and just throw 'em on there. I, also, have done this for the majority of my life.
Recently (about 2 or 3 months ago), I tried listening to full albums from start to finish, as if I had no other choice. I found it incredibly rewarding. I now only listen to complete CDs, ignoring the harsh things my friends have said about that ;-). Now, this will vary depending on what genre you listen to. But for me, being into progressive rock (most people identify this as 'classic rock' but it exists well into 2009...) made it easy. The albums are generally MEANT to be listened to as a whole.
Do you mostly listen to individual tracks? (I'm expecting a majority 'yes')
Are there any exceptions to this? (maybe there' only one or two albums you like to listen to entirely)
I expect the older you are, the most likely you are to enjoy full albums, especially coming from the vinyl age.

Well, I tend to have ADD of the ear and so I usually get bored listening to one group or even general genre of music at a time. I've got such a crazy variety of songs on my iPod that the shuffle is good. A depressing song, then some soundtrack music from Mulan, then a hardcore rock song, then some Japanese bubblegum pop... I love variety so I do like listening to individual tracks for that. I used to burn out my CD players because I'd put one CD in and listen to a song or two and then keep changing it. There are a few albums I listen to in their entirety, which the only one I can think of right now is Green Day's American Idiot, but that's because the entire album is a story and even though the songs are great by themselves, they are a lot better when all together and in order.

I usually like listening to whole albums. I find it interesting, and often I enjoy a piece of music that I probably would have overlooked if I was just picking out my favorite tracks to listen to.
