What are the qualities we all searches in our friends ?

A Person that will not take advantage of what I am, what I have and what I can do. An Honest fellow that cares. A Person that comforts you in times of sadness and failures. Lifts you up and offers a helping had to go on and be happy. A Person that you can lean on, you can share with, you can trust with. A Person you can be with in times of joy and sympathy. Most of all a true person , true to his/her self and not pretending.

Personally I need for my friends to have a sense of humor because I like to goof around a bit. I don't like people who are too shy and you always feel like you're talking to a wall when talking to them because they don't respond. I like to go out and try things so people who are shut-ins do not make the best friends for me. I think people like their friends to be nice and a little bit different from them, but not too much that it hinders their friendship.

Honest, kind may be the standards when we accept others to be our friend. Other things may be not so very important. They 'll be our friends whether they're rich or poor, outgoing or reserved.
