What would you prepare for a one-year trip in addition to personal necessities?

Imagine that you are preparing for a trip.You plan to be away from your home for a year.In addition to clothing and personal care items,you can take one additional thing.What would you take and why?As for me,I realize that the best thing for me to bring on an extended journey would be my laptop.At first,a laptop computer can act as a journal.Second,I can use it to communicate with loved ones or business colleagues.Finally,it can be very helpful for me to have access to entertainment.

As for me,I also should take my laptop as well.Because I can not live without my laptop.It gives me a lot of fun,if I do not take my laptop with me,I will feel boring.

Since it is a large part of how I earn my living and stay connected with friends and family, I would take my laptop! Good question, by the way : )
