Accidentally heated cherry pits

It was at 350 F (they were stupidly stored in the oven), for maybe -- if that -- five minutes. Do you think it did 'em much harm? It wasn't even warm enough to heat off the moisture from them. Will they still grow?

The only way to know is to plant them the same. If they only 5 minutes in the oven I don't think that they would be done. But I don't know why you had them in the oven?

^_^ I don't remember putting them in the oven, but then I've been pretty tired lately...so maybe I did and it wasn't for an reasonable idea. Anyways, I didn't know if it'd kill them, so I asked...and yeah, that does seem to be the consensus. I'll have to chill them and then plant them after I plant my apricot pits in a couple weeks.

If they didn't lose all their moisture then they should be okay, just make sure they're still rather damp. But like the above said, theres no point in not trying them really. And yeah.. the oven.. stupid place haha :p

Wow... I don't know. If they were still damp, maybe they didn't get hot enough to be damaged. I would try them, anyway.
