Where can i find free foreclosure listings? the websites ive see all wanna charge alot just to look at catalogs for them thats absurd. Also how do foreclosures work its to my understanding you just take over payments and its yours is there really more to it?

Depending on the area you live in, either call hud or call the realtors. Most of the time realtors sale the foreclosed homes for the banks. It used to be you could buy the house directly from the bank. That time has almost disappeared. Good luck on your purchase.

Sorry didn't finish reading your question. It's a lot more to it than just taking over payments. You are buying a house. Yeah, it's been foreclosed but that doesn't mean anything special to you. Usually foreclosures have been destroyed on the inside. The only thing foreclosure means is that you will get the house for less than what the last owner paid unless he didn't pay anything off his principal and he financed 100%. BIG DEAL.
