HI guys,
please help!!! My head is about to explode. how do i create a html banner for my site. I have a banner in jpeg format. but i don't know how to turn into into a proper banner with a link.
If anybory van give me any pointers.

Hi slmash, it is very easy to have a html code to your jpeg image. You have to upload your picture to a server. To get done this you can use well known image uploading sites like 'imageshack', 'photobucket'...like that. After uploading your image, just see your html code in that site.This is what is called your 'image Url'.

You will first need to upload your banner from your hard drive to the internet. Photobucket.com or imageshack.us are two image hosting sites you could try. The choice is yours, or you could any other you know. You should get a link which points to your banner image.
The HTML code you need is the following. I've placed asterisks (*) into it so it will appear here, but remember to remove them. Anything in bold is what you can change as needed.
The target="_blank" in the code is for opening the link into a new window or tab. You can remove it and the link will take you to the next page inside the same window or tab.
