How easy is it really to get in the music industry?

How easy is it to get into the music industry? OMG!!! Thanks for making this post. I would just like to say it really just all depend on what it is that you wanted to do in the music industry. It is so broad and there are many job categories in it. Let's say that you are interested in singing. Nowadays just about anybody can get into the industry from singing but if you have a very unusual or unique sound to your voice. Then Bamm, that is what producers and recording studios would be looking for. You would stand a better chance of becoming popular verses somebody who just have normal sound. Take me for example I sing with a lot of feeling and joy because I enjoy it. But that doesn't mean that I want to go into the music industry. If it were easy believe me everybody would be doing it. To make a hit record probably isn't all that difficult but as a musician you have to keep on trying to improve upon the last thing that you put out there. The record companies would be very demanding of you and it's something that you would really have to love and have a passion for or else you would get lost by the wayside. I'm not trying to discourage you but I'm just trying to share with you information that I have learned from having dealt with a few people in the industry and just from having watched tv shows like making the band etc. and from listening to artist talk and sing practically all of my life. You are right a lot of people are just making up a whole bunch of junk nowadays and it don't even really sound like music so if you feel like you have what it take I would love to encourage you to go for it!
