Ive been writing about vampires since i was a freshman in high school. i still write to this day. i didn't even know "twilight" existed til 3 months after the movie had debuted. vampire movies and books have been around for decades and one small book series has teenage girls hot and heavy? its ridiculous and on top of that, the wonderful world of movies is doing it again and slowly but surely turning a well loved book series into a movie series. its the harry potter thing all over again...i hate to say this but yes i love the books but regardless it still seems unrealistic. i think that's why more ppl can relate to "True Blood" in which the second season is starting in a few days on HBO. has more then one back story not just two emo kids in love....

Twilight is a love story with a twist that's why I like. I also wondered why people love this movie/book but when I watched it, I fell for Edward Cullen.

I think the reason why so many people are addicted [ I am addicted too, Lol!] is this: They are exciting, they're romantic, They're funny, and there's action. And there is a "vampire" craze too. I think alot of people like the idea of vampires and things like that. And alot of girl like Robert Pattinson. And Taylor Lautner.

A lot of the girls I go to school with got all freaked out when that movie came out. I don't get it, it doesn't really seem that interesting. What's it even about anyway??

Well, world audience has different taste when it comes to movies or books, we cannot insist what we loved must be loved by all. If there are people who detested Twilight, there are groups who are crazy with it. Whatever other people references, we have to respect it and mind our own business.

im not hating on anyone. i myself am sort of a twilighter but i still think its a wee bit cliched. i mean its slowly developing into true blood. with vampires, a "werewolf", only difference between the two is that in true blood they walk among us and every body knows it.

It's precisely because of the whole "Harry Potter" hype that I refuse to have anything to do with "Twilight". I'm not about to get all revved up for another book/movie series that everyone's jumping on the bandwagon for. I prefer to read the three-book "North and South" series by John Jakes, which I'm going to get to pretty soon, hopefully.
