Paypal charges

In the past when I was a premier member of Paypal, it would charged me some fees since I received money. Then later I decided to downgrade my membership as personal account so that I don't have to pay for the fees. Today since I got USD2, then Paypal charged me USD0.37 and it's expensive. I don't know when they changed their rules. Is it a kind of membership which will not charge fees for Paypal now?

Hi Friend, You have personal account and in personal account paypal not charge any fee for their service. if you transfer money from bank to paypal or vice versa than it will be chargable. if you want to know about this you should go through the term and condition and policy updated in your account. you will get updated information about your problems. and if you get some new information please inform. thanks

I agree with you - PayPal's fees are RIDICULOUSLY high. I think personal & premiere have similar fees - although I've heard that "downgrading" from a premiere to a personal account charges you less fees. There's really no way around PayPal fees - unless you are receiving money from sites that do PayPal "mass pay" or some other type of payment where fees aren't taken from your earnings.

MyLot is mass pay, and we never pay fees for that.

My experience has been that it depends on who is sending the payment. I do not get charged for MyLot payments, but I do get charged for many others.

Perhaps Mylot already paid for it.

What do you mean? you get charged for the money that you receive to your paypal account or you get charged for the withdrawals that you make? I just recently started using my paypal account (since I joined mylot), and I have no idea how they use to charge before. All I know that there is a charge for every withdrawal that I will make.

I received USD2 from a friend. But Paypal charged me USD0.37 but in the past I don't have to pay for it since I downgraded my account as the personal one.

Downgrade is not a wise solution. Paypal has micropayment feature. You can activate that feature for your premier or business account. It costs a lower fees. I think paypal feed their employees from the fees too, so we should pay it as long as we use their services. It's fair for both us and them. Micropayment feature is a solution for us who receive small amount of money. Under USD 12, it only will cost us a lower fee. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.
