A strange problem in my computer !!!

Hi there,
I am facing a strange problem. I am running on a windows xp machine and whenever i open any folder on my computer, in the title bar, only first letter of the folder displayed. All i mean is, if i opened My Computer, in the title bar of my windows displays only "m" rest wiped out. It happens with all the folders in my computer. I have installed proper anti virus with latest updates and also some adware programs and all are working fine. Please find attached the screenshot.
Can any body look into the matter. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah a screen shot would be helpful. What Anti-Virus program are you using? Could you please post a screen shot of your TASK MANAGER and all the running programs.
