Is the internet slowly deteriorating the normal social relations of people and life?

It depends on how it is being used. There are times when it is used as a means to connect from other people thereby increasing socialization. BUT there are also times that Internet eats our attention and decreases our face-to-face interactions.

My girlfriend thinks so! I sit on the internet all night and don't talk to her! She's getting very frustrated with me! Poor lass!
