Do you ever dream stuff and then have it actually happen to you later?

I get this a lot and it really freaks me out, the overwhelming sense of deja vu and knowing something is about to happen and I can't stop it. Anyone else?

oh wait... i remember when i was in grade school i dreamt that tiny worms were coming out of holes all over my body... in my dream i didn't get scared or even afraid of the worms and of what was happening to me, i was like "look mom! tiny worms are coming out of me." Then when i was in college i got chicken pox. So i guess that can be some kind of foretelling but it had to be interpreted. I remembered the dream i had when i got chicken pox so somehow i guess they're connected. Although i don't think that's really the sort of dejavu dream you're talking about. haha... maybe mine are the prophetic kind of dream you have to interpret? I dunno... ^_^

I once had a dream about the future. About six years ago I was a nursing student and one night I dreamed about a voice that kept repeating the same words. The words were "gastro, gastro", and when I woke up I didn't remember the rest of the dream, the only thing I remembered was the voice and the words. The next day at school our teacher was handing out papers to the students, and the paper consisted of two things: Our names and the names of the wards and the hospitals where we were going to spend our clinicals. The ward where I was going to spend my first clinical specialized in...gastroenterology.
