Are you affected by the global financial crisis?

The global financial meltdown, which originated in the US subprime mortgage market, is already widespread. Are you one of those unfortunate people who have been affected by the crisis? In what way?
Personally, i am not yet feeling the effect that much.But i have seen that job posts have declined dramatically and credit card companies have been stricter.

Yes, I am affected by global financial crisis. I have been working with the same company for lst 1 and half years, but I didn't get a salary hike yet. I am supposed to get it every year. The company says they are affected by financial crisis that is why there is a dealy in apprisal process. They didn't even pay my bounus for a single year.
Because of this situation I am thinking to shift my job and get a hike in my salary, but I don't think it is easily possible. There are very few opportunities open and there is a good competition. So, I am affected by financial crisis.

Its very sad that it happened to you...yearly bonuses and salary increase are motivations to us to work harder...but because of the global crisis, companies have a valid reason not to give us those benefits.

Yes,i also affested by global financial crisis.Before this,i can buy goods in cheap price but now i need to wait big sale for get the cheap thing.Oil price also arise and need to control the using of it.I always use motorcyle to my college and use a small money to pay for the oil but now it arise and i need to pay more than before.Now,i dont use motorcylce anymore and prefer to use the bus.Thank you.

Yes, when things get harder, we want to save as much as we can. It is absolutely cheaper to commute than to bring your own vehicle because of the very high price of fuel... When, i hope we can get out of this mess soon. thanks for responding.

I am not be affected very much but I can't disaffirm that it have affacted me to some extent. I work at a Europe company and I get a 90 percent salary at whole 2009 years. It is not very huge hurt to me. In addition, my house bought by me not long ago, but without a price increasing in this period of time. But there are also some advantages to me such as many goods decrease their price, I can spend less money to buy them.

If we based it from commodity prices, yes, to some extent, we benefit from lower prices. the value of our money increases. because of the global financial crisis, prices have been reduced dramatically to encourage consumers to spend.

I believe we are all affected by the Global financial crisis in one way or another. It may not necessarily directly impacts us but the effect it has on things around us will affect us as well.
