Dreams Rerun

I have this one dream, that I have dreamt of for quite a number of times already since I was a kid. In that dream, I was being chased by a t-rex, and our house is being invaded by aliens. LOL. The funny thing is, the last I dreamed of this, I knew it was only a dream, and I already knew what was going to happen to me -- of course I won't be eaten by the trex, nor I won't be captured by the aliens. hehehehe.. Is it just me? or is there anyone out there who has reruns of their dreams? =)

I had a recurring dream experience when I was a kid. The dream wasn't always the same but there was one part that I could be in any dream and it would happen and it got to be like you said when that recurring part would start it was like I'd say, "Oh great, I'm dreaming this again!"

Lol...and sometimes once you've realised you've already had the dream, you think..excellent, I'll do this this time...or do that...then you wake up! That annoys me lol, I try and go back to sleep again and get back in the dream..which works sometimes, but most the time I think its just my conscious playing through the scenario again and adding bits to it instead of my conscious playing in the subconscious world...omg..does that make sense? It makes sense when I think it, but when i type it it looks like gobbledegook lol!

Hi, phew I'm glad I'm not the only one! I tend to have dreams that halfway through I think...hey I've been here before..like a dream deja vu lol. Then I can take control of the dream once that thought hits me and you can actually play around with it lucidly..using your conscious in your subconscious world...its excellent...you should make the most of it when you get a deja vu dream..take control, explore and do things you've always wanted to...I've flown and allsorts in mine :) keep me posted if you have another and let me know what you got up to :)

Haha nice one...perhaps if you shrink the trex so you can put it in your pocket..thats what I do whenever I have "monster" dreams..I shrink it then stomp on it lol...but something always slightly goes wrong like suddenly I cant walk cos the goo under my foot wont let me lol...its kinda half lucid..although i do keep having very nice lucid dreams about robin hood lol...;)

i used to have repeating dreams. repeating in a way that had all the main exciting dream elements and you knew it was the same dream as before. it's boring (lol also bore-ing) and annoying sometimes!
i like the t-rex in your dream much more than the aliens! lol. this is because the t-rex is something of the past, or that most people are more comfortable with, and that i'm more comfortable with. the one that starts with a.... well, i think that could represent new dangers, as a whole people. but i have recently had 'alien' dreams and i can't even talk about them because it is disturbing. sometimes i wonder if aliens can represent new technology... but that is too scary sometimes.
since you were more comfortable with the dream this time, that is good. it's fun when that happens, there's a dangerous dream, but you already know what's going to happen, so you don't have to worry as much. but it's not fun when it is new to you! lol.

LOL. you are right.. though i have never tried to think what my dreams meant... I guess you're right when you say that the t-rex represent my past.. so it's always running after me eh? .. anyway, I have not dreamt the dream for a long time now.. hehehe. I wonder when the next time will be..
