diseases......pandemic.

All my life, I have never expressed fear about a particular disease until lately. I've always thought that we are far too advanced for any diseases that in time a cure is provided and spread is controlled. That was my belief ever since until the Swine Flu came. The spread is too fast, and it affects many people all throughout the world. It has affected the operation of businesses, the schools etc. It has given the world another reason to fear (aside from current problem on recession, financial, rising oil, politics, scandals etc.) I know its out of topic but what happens these days actually reminds me on those zombie movies I've seen. You know the fast spread of disease and everyone turning to zombies? Remember Resident Evil Extinction? etc. (lol) I was wondering if something like that is possible. I know its a bit paranoid. Something like that might be possible to happen in the future. Everyday the earth's condition worsen (global warming, pollution etc.) If something like this happens to us now, how much more worse could it be in the future? Questions, questions so many questions. All we could do now is speculate.
