Manchester United have confirmed they have accepted a bid from Real Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo. CR7's future at United has been the subject of constant speculation with Real trailing his signature for the last three sumers.
Real have now agreed the 80m offer for the portugese ace and United have given him permission to talk to the Spanish club.
"At Cristiano's request - who has again expressed his desire to leave - and after discussion with the player's representatives, United have agreed to give Real Madrid permission to talk to the player. Matters are expected to be concluded by 30 June. The club will not comment until further notice.

Yes... they did it again.
If you all remember the previous holder of number 7 in Man Und was David Beckam who also went to play in Real Madrid and again the story repeat it self.
C. Ronaldo is even greater player than Beckam so I expect much more success for the club with this transfer.
I agree with thous of you who think that C.Ronaldo neads a new chalange in his career and that Real Madrid could give it to him so finaly the transfer has become fact. Also I think that C.Ronaldo could bring this sparkle to the club that is missing after the last galactic team was destroyed. C.Ronaldo has the skills and the qualities that few world known bootballers have shown - Kaka, Leo Mesi, etc., and he deserve to continue his development.

There goes the one people were starting to believe is the greatest Man Utd player of all times... I've always said you can't say that of someone who has only played 6 seasons for the club...Look at Giggs, for crying out loud!
Anyway... he was indeed very helpful for the club these past years and for that I thank him. I also thank him for the money he will bring to the club, money that will be used to create even a better team than the one he was a part of. I don't wish him many successes at Real Madrid, as I support FC Barcelona... I just hope he will realize he made a mistake.

I think it would be a great business for Man U and Christiano Ronaldo... though for Real I think the new Galatico era will begin again... With Kaka and Ronaldo, they would again be serious contenders in both Europe and domestically...
Cheers!

Ronaldo / CR7 is a good player, not only good...he is fast, skilled, and a goalgetter. He already got a lot of trophy with manutd, so I think it's normal if he would like to find new challenge.
But Manutd's key of success is not ronaldo, he is just one of the part the success.
The key is Sir Alex Ferguson, no matter who are the player, no matter who are the contenders, Manutd is always one of the successful team in the world. He had been working with so many players who have their own characteristic, but Sir Alex with his magic touch, could united his players into a solid team. As long as he is the manutd's manager, i would have nothing to worry.
