There are rumors on wrestling news sites that Ric Flair will be named Raw's New GM this coming monday. This is not comfirmed yet though.
Do you think that is a good thing? Who would be your choice for GM of Raw?

That would be interesting. I like Ric Flair and was sad when he retired, not b/c he wouldn't wrestle anymore, but b/c he wouldn't be on RAW anymore. I think his wrestling days are over b/c he is getting a big too old and saggy. Having him as GM would be great b/c he would still be a regular part of RAW without actually being in the ring. My first pick as GM would be....HULK HOGAN...YAH...bring back the Hulk..haha

OH yes..I didn't even think of that...Well, I think Orton deserves everything that's coming to him..he has been going around more months beating on Triple H, Flair, batista, etc etc...It's about time that someone bring him down from the pedestal that he has put himself on :)

i think RAW needs someone like eric bischoff or paul heyman, these two were quite successful as GM in the past. ric flair was a good sidekick (and a good wrestler perhaps) but i am not sure if he will be great as a GM. i think wwe can give him a chance, maybe he can do a decent job.

This will be something exciting to see, with all the commotion with Ric and Orton and Legacy. It will be very interesting to see what he does on his 1st night as GM of RAW......oh boy......watch out.....
When wrestling is in ones blood, it will always be there and if they do not have it or around it...it can make one literally die...just like racing,,,born into it or get involved it..its always in your system. I am glad he will be around what he enjoys and hopefully he can have some say in the creative department also.

it will be great to have naitch back in raw as its gm. i think it would do good for the show and will bring more fans back. i do hope teddy long gets back to raw as well. he is doing a good job as smack down gm but teddy long belongs to the big dogs playa!!! holla!!! holla!!! holla!!!
another good choice will be stephanie. i hope wwe creative brings back the power pair of hhh and stephanie and they become heels again. that was a great storyline and really helped define a new era in wwe.it was the closest thing they had next to the attitude era and one of the better ones in recent memory.
go stephanie!!!!

Yeah Stephanie was good as a heel GM, but with her kids now, I doubt she would want to be on the road as much as she would have to be being the GM and all.

I love Ric Flair, too and was real sad when he retired. So I kinda don't like the idea of him wrestling again. It's dangerous for his health and I got over with the fact that he's not wrestling anymore. Now all of a sudden he wants to wrestle again. I can understand that he might miss it. But he actually didn't need to put us through the emotional retirement thing.
So I'm not sure about seeing Ric Flair as the Raw GM. He wouldn't be wrestling but it's weird to have him just return. In general, I'd be totally okay with this, though.

Yeah I heard that makes sense since he signed a wwe contract and he cant wrestle so I think this would be the perfect role for flair and hopefully will make raw more entertaining. I would love to see flair come back as long as if its not in a wrestling role wich would be cool to see him weekly.

I have heard about this as well. Vickie Guerrero, the old Raw GM, left wrestling to have more times with her daughters. She was one of the best heels in the business, could get heat like no one else and Eddie would of been proud. I also think that they will name Ric Flair as GM of Raw on Monday and it will be a nightmare for Orton. My first choice for GM would be Stone Cold followed by Mick Foley, but he's in TNA. They might pull a twist and bring back Eric Bischoff. That would be awesome.

I can totally see that happening just to work in the story line between him and Orton. Hulk Hogan would be a good choice too but I read he has a very hard time getting around and seems to be very vain. He doesn't look like he's in the greatest shape and his personal life is in shambles.
How about Stone Cold Steve Austin? He would make an interesting GM...if the wrestler's disagree with him, he can throw a stunner their way...lol
