Are you a snacker?

I am. It's difficult being a snacker and trying to lose weight! I just graze like a cow and it's purely habit.
One thing that I have found that works for me is having a deck of cards in my hands, it makes me shuffle and play with them, it akes my mind of the munchies and keeps my hands busy!
Are you a snacker?
Or are you a strict 3 meal a day er?

Snacking is my middle name :) It's such a bad habit b/c i'm also trying to lose weight so I will eat light meals and then at night I get soo hungry and I sit there and head half a carton of Ice cream...bad bad me. What I try to do now is always have a botlte of water newar me..That way, instead of snackign, I will just have water.....Ofcourse, it doesn't always work, but I try :) Good luck my fellow snackers..

No I can imagine it doesnt work! Do you get the ice creams called Mini milk in canada? they are ony 30 calories each.
Also, another one I have started to use is to put some diet coke or soda or whatever in a bowl, freeze it, stick it in the blender until it's blended and eat with a spoon!

my friend - unfortunately my problem is that I like the full flavored ice cream :) none of this low fat stuff for me..hahah..my fave icecream is anything w/ peanut butter..mmmm.. a few years back, Haagan Daz ice cream had come out with this great flavour called chocolate peanut butter..My boyfriend at the time (my hubby now) and I would go and buy one ever week and eat it together..and then suddenly, that flavour went off the market.. i havent been able to find it anywhere..

im an avid snacker but there's problem in that they say you should be eating at least 6 times a day. See if you eat a little over the course of the whole day instead of a lot 3 times you'll lose weight due to your metabolism always running and kicking up a notch for your snacking so its not bad at all

I am a snacker, which got a lot worse when I quit smoking 3 months ago. I did gain a bit of weight, I never weighed myself to see how much I gained, but I did gain. I finally started getting the snacking back down to normal, which is basically whenever I'm watching TV, which is still a lot because we're big movie renters!

Yes, i used to be. sometimes when am too tired i get snacks before i get to sleep. well, if you are focus on a diet i suggest you simply drink a lot of water in every two hours. that way it will keep you from getting hungry, thus increase your metabolism.but remember to always eat 3 times a day, just to keep you from getting weak.

There..that's better. I usually only eat one meal a day, but snack off and on, especially when I'm at the computer. I try to not get a lot of junk food, or have it in the house. Maybe I'n snack less if I could just sink my teeth into a nice chunk of chocolate...lol

Yes, I'm always in to snacking unfortunately. I wish I didnt eat as much as I do. I try to get snacks that are not too fattening or dont have too many carbohydrates in them, that is the thing that works the best for me. It is hard not to snack at all. very hard as far as I am concerned.

Yes, I am a snacker. It's something that I've been doing for quite a while. I have no clue why I'm a snacker, or anything like that. It's just the way that I've done things, and everything. I'm also a university student, which may explain why I am a snacker, since I've begun university.

I'm a snacker but I'm not overweight. I do occasionally snack on small food products but then I decide to run to the store to get them so I burn what I eat off. I feel the best way to avoid snacking is sleeping so try that if you don't want to be tempted. I'm not a strict 3 meal-a-day-r at all but I don't obsessively snack.

I snack a lot. I pick through the kitchen through out the day and when it comes to an actual meal time I am never hungry.
It makes my beau laugh. Even when Im cooking I usually "taste" so much that by the time the meal is done I'm not even a bit hungry any more.

3 cardmonter. . .I am the worst kind of snacker there is . .as the time I need that snack is in the middle of the night . . for some unknown reason I wake and have to run to the cupboard and get a cookie . . sometimes 2 . . I remember it so I know I am not sleep walking. . and if there isnt a cookie I go crazy rummaging through everything just to find my "fix"
I do fine all day . . but comes that call in the middle of the night and I have no will power. .
funny I eat my cookie (preferably double stuffed oreo's) and I go back to sleep with no problem!

I'm an avid snacker. I eat like 7 times a day(3 solid meals and 4 snacks like cookies,choco bars etc) and sometimes 8 or 9 if I feel hungry enough for a midnight snack. I don't gain much weight though. I only weigh like 52 kg.
