Do you go fishing or have you in the past? Who taught you how to fish?

Hi Karen.....I love to fish!!! That is probably the only good memories I have of my first marriage was when we would go fishing. it didn't matter what time of the day or night I was alwasy ready and had pole and bait in hand...LOL We most definitely ate what we caught and when the kids were old enough we got them bamboo poles so they could catch bluegil and other panfish. I haven't been fishing in along time as my husband now does not like the outdoor stuff, but maybe one day I will get me a pole and some bait...a comfy chair and a good book and go find me a nice place to cast a line and have a nice soothing, forget everything kind of day. flutterby

I was taught to fish by my Dad also. But we always had the rule you catch it you clean it. I really don't like to kill anything not even flies so even though I like to go on the water I don't fish, I get to run the boat for others to fish. And I get to cook them when we get back, I'm good at that.

I have gone fishing with my hubby before, he is a big fan of fishing, I have gone with him last year and tried, it wasn't easy at all, I casted but I didn't get anything and it made my arm very tired quick. We have been fishing this year and he has caught 5 big keepers already, particularly like the big fish fishing f it comes to little fishing, I can ahndle it and I find it fun.
