Are you a member of the fitness centre? I used to be a member of California fitness centre, I used to go there 1-3 times a week, I like to do the cardio first for an hour and then do the weight lifting machines, afterwards, I like to go in the sauna room and steam room, take a shower then leave, I felt vert relaxed after. But since I started working, I went there only 2-3 times a month and the memrship fee was quite expensive so I cut it when the contract was done.
Do you lke to work out at the fitness centre? What do you do?

We had an awesome fitness center at my college and I used to go there about every other day, but with going to school full time and working full time I just couldn't make the cut, so I eventually stopped going.
Instead, I walk around here (I live at the top of a very big hill that's about 1.5 miles long, so I get the ups and downs that are good for cardio) and I have both Wii Fit and some other Wii Fitness Coach game thing, plus plenty of videos and such. I love to take a good book and read while I walk, too. It's very relaxing and a good way to pass the time. I miss using the exercise bikes, though, because bikes are my favorite and I used to read while I biked, but one day when I can save up the money I'll buy a decent exercise bike that I can just use in the house. :D

its better going to a fitness centre regularly and it is a good habitat to keep you fit and feel young all the way. fitness it comes as a part of extra curricular activities and it has many variants like jogging , running , swimming , aerobics , yoga , gym etc etc ... the list goes on . people those who feel to be young all their life usually prefer going fitness centre and it is not necessary to go regularly probably twice or thrice a week . thats enough to keep you fit and feel young . people who work in corporate field , studying in college , young chaps etc it is necessary to go for a fitness centre because they concentrate fully on their work what they do . fitness provides them a kinda relaxation and makes them feel fresh . fitness got more of its pros when compared to cons ...

I like to go to the fitness centre because I paid the membership fee so I kinds feel like I HAVE to otherwise I waste the money so I used to go regularly and once I went there, I wouldn't just spend only an hour, I tended to do all the steps as I mentioned, the last part - steam and sauna was excellent! Thanks for responding! :-)

I am a member in one of the gyms here in my area. My workout includes at least an hour of cardio and then I lift weights after that. I have always wanted to try one of the aero classes, but I have not had the time. I workout at least 4 times in a week, but I seriously do my best to workout everyday. My day seems to be incomplete without my workout.

Hi, i did not go to fitness centre. I jus go to badminton courts or swimming pools to do exercises. For me i dont think exercise at fitness centre will get a better result than going to badminton court or swimming pools. Other than that i can shout and scream and do whatever i want to make my exercise time more fun. So i still prefer my own way. Happy Mylotting!!!

I was a member of fitness center before and I actually miss going to the gym. Exercising in a gym gives better results I think cause there are gym assistants/instructors that will help us exercise properly. It's also not boring cause you'll meet a lot of people in a gym who'll eventually become your friends.
But I've stopped after my contract expired. The membership fee increased and I need to cut down some expenses. Right now I'm trying to have some discipline and exercise at home.
Ciao!

I used to go to Lifetime Fitness, a huge corporate gym in my area. It was nice. I loved to use the tredmills, weight machines, and swimming pool of course. I only lasted there about 2 months, but I lost 20lbs! And I got in shape & did a 5k shortly after. It was quite nice. Not only was it pretty expensive - I think probably about $75 a month - but I also was going to school full-time and had 2 part-time jobs, and I literally couldn't fit working out into my schedule without depriving myself of sleep. It was really convenient, though, and now that I have more time on my hands, I wish I hadn't ended my contract.

Wow, 20lbs in 2 months, it is pretty good! Did you have a fitness coach with you during the time when you work out? I had that for a period and he coached me to do the whole thing, I did lose weight following his instruction but the plan was pretty expensive as well...
