An inspiring story when it comes to achieving goals in life. That a man can really achieve anything he wants if he has determination and perseverance.

This book is really inspiring, i myself personally don't read any novel books. Especially when I don't know the feedback of this book. It's kinda waste of time to read these novel books. But one day, my friend recommend this book to me, and I ask what does this book says, then he told me that it really fits for my perception. So i took the risk of reading it. It really is indeed a wonderful book that I don't want to stop reading reading this book. One line that is striking to me here is, "When you want something, the universe conspires in helping you achieve it." I interpret this that you must have to believe in yourself and you have to have faith in what you believe and you'll able to achieve what you really wanted to.

This is about a shepherd boy who sold all his sheep and traveled a long and hazardous journey in pursue of the treasure which was hidden in the Egyptian pyramids as revealed in his dreams....but...discovered upon reaching his destination that the treasure he is looking for is buried all along in the place where he came from. The story is rich in spiritual and moral values and its effect on man's physical activities depending on how one understand or interprets it. Foremost, message is how a man's determination could be a dynamic factor in realizing his dreams as forces of the universe tune in to help him attain it.

2 people, especially children, this book told exactly how 2 make a choice and pursuit one's dream.during the story, the boy Santiago has been making choices on and on:he chose 2b a shepherd, sold his sheep 2 go to Africa, work in the crystal store,go to the pyramid, then go back 2 the treasure in the church...it's a long journey which probably means a process 2 pursuit dream,if he give one step up,he could never fuond the treasure, even he could he can't find what he really want
