User rating and earning

Actually, myLot doesn't rate you. You are rated by other myLot members using the Discussion Rating System (DRS). The DRS works by using the +, - and ! that you see next to comments, responses and even uploaded images. According to the FAQ, the discussion rating system is in place to help ensure the quality of discussions. We are encouraged to rate the usefulness of other members' contributions. We are not to rate positively or negatively based on whether or not we AGREE with, like or dislike what someone posts. It's about the quality and usefulness of the information. As to whether reputation has anything to do with earnings, here is what it also says in the FAQ: "The DRS is factored into our proprietary earnings algorithm, so this will help us properly reward valuable contributions to the myLot community." When I got my star it was a 4, and it stayed that way until this last weekend, when ti went up to a 6, and now it is an 8. I am happy with it though, as the 4 star was dull, but it was growing on me lol. I have seen my earinings go up now that I have an 8, and I am pleased with that. I won't worry about it if I never get a 10 then that is ok too. To me, the ratings aren't the most important thing, as being able to share with others from all over the world is the most important thing. I am really having fun here and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. This site is just so much fun, and I am here for the duration. Take care and happy mylotting.

I'm not sure... Dx In fact, I don't even know the starting rate for earnings. This is my first day so it still says I have $0.00 but I guess I'll find out tomorrow.
