Working on projects alone

I have found myself living alone again and when I start a project around the house sometime I need an extra hand. I need tips on how to survive alone. Not lonelyness but needing that McGuiver technique for projects. Can anyone give me some tips. Or maybe you have made a special tool that is handy? please any advice would be great.

You need someone to show you how to use a drill. That is a good start. I do not do projects really apart from hanging pictures here and there and changing them around. It is strange living on your own at first but you will soon get to enjoy your space and your place.

Well since you are not being very specific I guess the best tool you can have is a phone book.
