I believe that China will be one of the first countries that will see the economy turning positive again which means that the chance of the stock market will rise to a higher level is higher.
But then, it is quite well known that the China government has quite strong influence on the stock market and that they have so many policies that are affecting the stock market so directly that it can be quite difficult to know when a new policy will come out that either push or drag the market.

Investing in the China stock market is no easy task as there are way too many different policies that can affect the performance. Thus, I would rather treat it as a game. Put in a small amount of money to see how well or not so well we are when selecting the stocks to buy and the timing we make the transaactions. Gain more experiences in terms of reactions to tonnes of news coming out everyday, learn to read the financial reports of the companies, etc.

I think what China needs to do to become "the darling of foreign stock market investors" is to adopt a "Laissez Faire" treatment of it's business sector with some occasional interventions in fixing some problems. It can be gradual withdrawal to its long cherished communist-influenced policies. Let the business sector grow freely without much influencing it, like the U.S. way.

I follow the stock market and have been investing for almost a year now. I have several China Stocks and some are doing very well and some are just sitting there. It is very difficult to predict what the stocks will do in these uncertain times. I do feel that the China economy will be amoung the first to recover andthe other emerging market is India. If you want information on China stocks chect this out. http://www.cnanalyst.com/

I invested in several stocks in China stock market two years ago. But I didn't earn any profits, instead I was badly hit--big losses. I plan to keep them there for as long as it takes to get back at least my orginal sum of money LOL. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
