My parents are afraid that something might actually happen to me if I have my own car..I guess parents having only two children mostly have this paranoia thing..there's only me and my older sister..I'm so eager to have my own car because it'll help me alot..help me save time if I have to go somewhere important...haays

Well Parents somehow always get worried and there is nothing wrong about that, they love you and care for you and that love sometimes changes into over-protection and worrying too much. I hope they get you a car soon :) But try not to get annoyed over it.

I wonder how old are you. Parents usually won't allow kids to own a car if they are in teen age. They will think there kids should be mature enough to handle a vehicle properly. Of course I agree that there is paranio among parents, especially when they have only one or two kids.
My couin's son always complained to me about his mom limiting his freedom and asked me to advice and convince her to get a bike for him. But, when I talked to his mother, she has her own reasons for not getting a bike for his son. We should also think from parents point of view.
I wish you can convience your parents soon and try to won a car. All the best!
