Did you ever mistake an animal for another animal?

I have this issue since yesterday. A really huge fly is flying around in my room. And sometimes when it's flying it sounds like a wasp. Yesterday when I saw and heard it for the first time right in front of me I jumped away from pc and whined. I really thought it's a wasp so I was really afraid. I hate wasps because they can sting. It must sound pretty weird and I don't think there are much of those situations in life but maybe someone also already had such a case. Like oh..another recent thing is. We bought two new guinea pigs and one of them is still really small. It really looks like a hamster so I am still wondering..is this really a guinea pig? It also has the colour of a hamster haha. But I guess it's a guinea pig because we bought it from a kindergarten in which were many many guinea pigs in one big room.
