eversince I was a child i'm always asking questions that start with why? what? who? when? and how? some got answers and some remained unanswerable... after several years i still keep asking these questions like "does everything happen that way because it is written or destined?" and "what is my purpose in life?". Recently i've just noticed that everything is like connected to each other.. so.. do you think everything really happens for a reason?

I believe there is always a reason WHY a thing happens, but do all things happen FOR a reason, as in to serve some greater good down the road? That one is harder for me to answer, as I'm not really sure. I do, however, believe God can bring something good eventually out of even bad things, or in spite of bad things. A very good question! Ah self examination. The answer to the meaning of life is 42, oh wait you asked what is my purpose in life? To get married, to procreate within the bounds of marriage, to go forth into all the world to every kindred, tongue, tribe and tell them about the Lord Our God. I believe that everything happens in God's timing and there are things that we will never understand let alone comprehend while on this earth.

I definitely think everything happens for a reason and it is all a part of the grand scheme of things. I feel that from the day we are conceived, "someone" or "something" has our life and planed out until the day we die. I believe that everything we do and everything that happens to us is no great coincidence but rather the way that we are suppose to get to wherever it is that we are suppose to go according to the "plan". Maybe sometimes things don't happen Exactly the way planned, but I think they are close enough to get us to the same place.

I have always believed that everthing happens for a reason. We don't know what the reason is but sometimes after things happen you think about it and can see the reason.

I believe that everything happens with a reason and it is god's plan. But, I don't believe in fate. I think god gives you certain choices in life and it is upto your option from the choice you had, you frame your life. Sometiems there are things happening in your life which you don't want or you don't care. God will ofcourse have a reason for the happening and it is good for us.

I do believe that everything happens for a reason, when i get down i tell that to myself. But sometimes I cannot help but wonder what is the reason that thing happened to you? or why did it have to happen to you? anyway i guess no one can answer that question but i do hope the reason for all the negative things happening in our lives will eventually lead to something positive for all of us

I agree that everything happens for a reason. Whatever is, is right. Nothing that ever was, was wrong.

If you ask a question like this, I would surely say 'Yes'. This world is created for some purpose by God and we are just actors in this world. But the hard thing for a person in this world is - to find the reason why he or she has been created in this world. But when one person find the reason for his life, he is the luckiest person in this world. Also knowing the reason is not enough also do the purpose makes sense. Life is a mysterous game in which you have one life- you have to find what is the aim of the game?- that is the reason or purpose!!!

I believe 100% on this. I believe that every thing happens in our life is for a reason & it will be a reason. From every thing you can lot of things. If it is sadness or happiness learn a thing from it.10% of our life is what is your happenings is other 90% is how you see it.

@sankar_narayanan. Well said sankar. It is really true. Life is all about waht is happening and how we take it. All the things happen for good and you can learn manythings from your past experience. Sadness or Hapiness, it is absolutely vital that we treat these two impostors to be the same. Too much of sadness will destroy your confidence and too much of happiness will tend to make you haughty.

I have always thought that things happen for a reason. I can't give any kind of solid explanation for why that is, but I do think it is a fact and often I have accepted things that have happened for that reason. Many times things don't go the way that I want them to go but I realize that that is the way it is and I have no say in it and have to accept what happened because it was meant to.

Definately. Life is a cycle, and so everything happens for a reason. We may not see it or even know it, but there's a reason for everything.

Sure I do. For every action there is a reaction. We are all intertwined like a cobweb. Therefore we never really know the reasons why.

I suppose we can always find a reason for things to happen. So, in that way, we could assume that everything happens for a reason. In a way though, it sounds so limited. A predestined fate gives the feeling of a life played elsewhere, unoriginal to an extent. I would like to hope that things happen for a reason, but nothing is set in stone.

Hey, Yes I actually personally believe that everything happens for a reason, but then again another question pops up in my head. Why do so many people have bad things happen to them, if everything happens for a reason? Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I do believe everything happens for a reason. Often it is because we did not do enough to prevent something from happening or to cause something to happen.
