When you play poker, can you keep a straight face in order not to let people know how you play and what you are holding? Do you wear anything to help like a hat? sun glasses?

I don't. I can't look someone in the face and look serious.

I am not really good when it comes to IRL poker, maybe because of the lack of experience on this way. I am a person of emotions so I might be easy to read when it comes to a game where faking plays a big role. I might look too honest for poker actually :D So yes, a cap and some sunglasses, I'll have that ;)

Actually it's not always a good thing to have a poker face. For example, when I play with some of my friends, we'll laugh and joke about this and that and if I would keep a straight face, they would probably guess the power of my hand. In this situations you have to try and do things like "Crazy" Mike, this way they'll never be able to read you. But after all when playing with my friends is not really about winning, it's about being together and having fun. But when I play at a serious table, I can hold a straight face and can keep any involuntary twitches to a minimum, without the aid of hats/music/sunglasses/etc.

There are so rarely peoples around me playing pokers in my country. I only playing pokers online, so i don't think they could see any of my expressions in the games. But when i playing with face to face players, i always made a random expressions, so they wouldn't be able to guess whats card on me.

I've been trying to play poker, really, but I can't win, I don't know why. As if my opponents can read my card actually..
