I a currently on hold and have been for the last 15 minutes! It is with my cellular service provider. I recently switched providers but maybe I picked the wrong one! It so stresses me out that I pay someone a monthly fee and get such a delayed response if any.....I am certain this happens within most telephone customer service centers...go ahead give me our best story on how you have dealt with the issue upon getting thru to a live agent.

I always check the internet for an alternative phone number of the call center sometimes it connects you with an agent faster ( and cheaper). If it takes way too long, I just mail them, and if they still don't react I will ask some chaps in a forum on what to do.

The tips are appreciated 42 minutes later I have now had the chance to speak with someone ....the matter was made worse by them saying I was not authorized to ask questions because it is a company cell phone and only the authed person can get a new code for my voice mail :( What a complete waste of time...thanks for letting me rant:)

I just HATE that!
Mann - 42 minutes is a long time to wait. I usually just hang up on 15 minutes later/being on hold. It's so annoying and irritation.
After hanging up - I'd try the local phone service, via AT&T local stores- then they get the brunt of my irritation due to being on hold for a long time. They usually try to help me out - then when they transfer me to call center or whatever, they seem to pick up pretty fast.
You can also try e-mail - if the website provides that option. They typically do, these days.
Take care!

LOL! thanks for sharing in my stress...good to know others get as bothered by this as me. Maybe call centers should hire more people who could use the job and keep their customers happy.
