Hello mermaidivy, I share the computer at home with my hubby and sometimes, my nieces or nephews use ours. I always remember the most important password and ID but for certain stuff, I just keep in a special book but I don't really type it as it is.

I do saving all my password on my computer. I'm not worried about that. I'm sure my computer already have the best protection from hackers. The most things i love firefox is, the security options which is i can use the master password so that anyone could see my saved password than me.

I save my password at home on my computer because I am the only one who uses it or even knows how to use it so it's safe for me to do that. I think I'll always do that unless I would live with a roomate or somebody like that that would have access to my computer. If I did live with someone who used my computer or had their own even I would then type it in every time I logged on. Not that I think everybody else is untrustworthy or something like that, it would just make me feel more comfortable. Kinda like locking the bathroom door when there are a bunch of other people in the house. LOL!

No, I never save my login ID and password on my personal computer. I don't save it on no computer. I don't trust cyber world. I keep that information in a notebook that no one has access to but me.

I haven't written it down anymore. My mother does write her own passwords down though, as she can't remember them and I can't remember her passwords along with my trillion passwords. On most sites I let my browser remember my passwords, I trust my mother and only me and my mum know the password of the computer. I can't refrain from saying I know the password of my boss' computer though.

Hey Mermaid, I never save any of my passwords on my PC/Laptop even at home. It seems i m so much used to keep them secret, that i seldom choose the save password option. its not that i feel it unsafe to save the password, its just a habit. But i still feel that one should not save passwords even at home.Bcoz there are times when some unintended person might use ur computer by fluke and he might just get a peep into ur mails/scraps/etc etc...and the list can go on & on & on... So its always better not to save ur password... Regards, vaibhav
