I'd leave....
Well I found myself thinking that yesterday, yes I did.
So, y'all, if you had all the money you needed and the guts to go do whatever you wanted in this world, what would you do?
I'd be doing a whole lot of snorkeling, try hang gliding, see a lot of shows, travel everywhere and I'm not sure what all.

Oh, I'd probably not do anything as exciting as all that. I think I would make my way to New York and push my way into Bryant Park during fashion week. One day I want to see that a designer has used my pieces to compliment his/her collection. Better yet, I want them to be calling me, asking me to make pieces just for their collections.

Yeah, same here. I'd just travel everywhere and do all sorts of great things. I'd take the kids to all the great theme parks of the world, starting with Disney (the Florida one cuz there's plenty of other things to do in Florida). I'd travel the country and take in all it's beauty. I'd visit historical cities like Salem, Mass. and modern cities like New York, and I'd see the Grand Canyon and the Rocky Mountains. I'd walk on the walk of fame in Hollywood...
Then I'd visit the rest of the world. Taj Mahal, great wall of China, Big Ben, Eiffel Tower...

Oh there's more. I could go on all day listing all the places I want to visit. Egypt, Rome and Venice, maybe Spain... but don't need to stay too long... Japan (for the architecture) China for the history, maybe even Thailand because I saw it in this movie and it looked really cool.

Traveling is definitely cool and awesome. I'd love to do a well-rounded, if possible, just like the book; Around the World in 80 days. I'd also love to help the poor; and this is real. I see so many starving children and elderly my heart just goes out to all these people.
It is great to see so many non-profit organizations. I was kind of sad to see that even in my own country, there are still people whom can't afford a good education. So to slot money into education is also good. I'd first love to educate myself, then I will want to have a foundation for the different causes.
And I would love to see more help-lines for people with lots of problems but with no one to turn to. I see depression to be one of the top list of causes. Would love to see this problem being see too. So I would need money in all these. If I have the guts to..

Alice, now that we are talking about me and me only, LOL..I would want to spend time just surfing the waves! I'm so loving the sea, so I would want to have a luxurious home by the sea, and having my own surfing company. Like providing lessons or some sort for students. Or just having a surfboard rental or some sort. I can go on and on...ha...

Debra, your answer is exceptionally beautiful. I like the part which you said returning back to the community or something; somewhere along those lines.
You are right; it's best to put some cash stored for our love ones too; just in case, we are no longer around.

I would make sure of my children's and grandchilren's security first...I could not in good consciousness help anyone until they were set and secure. Then I would want to return to my community and my to the home of my ancestors...what has been given to me. I'm sure once I began traveling all over the world...I would see more need and want to help too.

If I had the money there is no doubt that by now I would be doing a round the world road trip - by air! If I had the money I'd like to be giving it away to people that really need it more than me. If I had the guts I'd tell myself that I can do that right now but it would leave me and my family homeless. So perhaps I'd better wait a while longer.

I'll happily write to Warren Buffet - sounds like an upmarket rabbit diner. Who is Warren Buffet. I confess that his place in the annals of history has completely passed me by. I wouldn't want any of Paul's money. He will need it for the next bimbo who takes his fancy!

Warren is one of the richest men in the world. And as for Paul, maybe if I steal his contact lenses he will think I am a bimbo. lmao

Hi dawn,
If you are on your trip do not forget to come to India, and especially the North East Region of the country. You would get stuck here and might be would ask for a plot of land to build a house and live here the rest of your life.

Ok...If I had the money....I'd quit my job for starters. I'd buy a better place for my daughter and me to live. Then....I'm not too sure. I know I would not get bored. I've never been one for "planning ahead" so I'd probably for once be really, truly free as I've always wanted to be. I'm pretty sure that's not ever going to happen so I'm not going to dwell on this one. I'm actually pretty content in my life as it is.It'd be nice to have more time with family and friends and to not worry about the bills getting paid. other than that, I'm really pretty much ok with my life. There isn't a lot I'd even want to change up.

I don't know about the guts part but if I had all the money to do whatever I wanted to do, then I'd definitely try, or at least learn how to, sky surf. I'd jump off the plane with snowboard & just have fun. Build my own highway & drive F1 car to & from where ever I need to be, & have a speed limit sign read, "Minimum Speed Limit 125mph". Definitely go shark diving. Learn "bullfighting". Few other things I can think of but will stop here...

My choice would probably say a lot about me and the kind of life I'm living, lol. If I had the money and the guts... I'll go have another baby. :) When it comes to finances, I'm very conservative. I've certainly become shy of any risks about money since I became a mother. I just can't do that to my daughter. We have enough and some for extras, but I don't think there's enough to be comfy with a second child. Second thing is my first pregnancy was simultaneously a wonderful and horrific experience. I had hyperemesia until a little over the fifth month, then when I gave birth, I developed bladder atony, which was a really painful experience.... I guess that's where the guts part would come in. :)

If I had the money, the first thing I would like to do is to biuld project hope schools in poor areas.I was born in a poor family,I had the opportunity to finish my school due to the help of other kind-hearted persons. So helping other poor students to finish their study is my dream.I hope all the students in the world have the same chance to study in school. The second thing I would like to do is to travel around the world.

Awesome...I'd love to build schools for the poor. Education is the key to helping people. Give a man a fish..and you've fed him for a day...teach a man to fish and you've fed him for life.

If I had money I will buy my own house so I can be independent and live on my own, set my own rules and do as I please. I also buy my own car so I can travel anywhere I please without worrying how I can go home fast. I would also travel around the world and try the things that I watched on amazing race. Like eating that country's delicacies, bunjee jumping, sky diving, skiing, etc, basically the things that I don't usually do, eat or even tried.

I'd love doing some of the things on Amazing race too! but without the fast pace and sleep deprivation, because if I go to another country I want to be able to actually see some things!

Yes you are right. I wanted to join the Amazing Race but without the sleep deprivation and all the running and screaming. I need sometime to set up my camera and pose in every corner of the country I visit. So I guess I need more money to visit the countries around the globe with finesse, tons of pictures and stuffs from all the places I visited.

If I had hundeds of millions of dollars...lol
I would first buy thousands of acres in the Missouri Ozarks and build a house for each of my children...and me. Maybe raise horses and have many animals to love and care for. A large victorian house for myself would be nice. And then...I would travel to Ireland and the rest of the UK...spend a few months just getting to know the people and the scenery and history. Then I would go to Italy, Sicilly in particular and do the same. Then, I would visit each country of the world..see the major scenic wonders.
Then...I would come back to the states...and perhaps do something worthwhile for those on the reservations...healthcare, clean water, etc. Then I would build a homeless shelter in my town...and a half way house for recovering addicts. I would start a parenting school for teenagers, I would also contribute to the arts in my community...there are a great many ways to spend millions to help people.
Oh...and I would be a perpetual student....learning has always been my joy!

If I had the money I would buy a small palm fringed island in Central America. On it I would built a tree house and a beach hut. I would be able to go snorkeling around the colorful coral reef. I would go shopping on the mainland once a month and stay there for half of each year. For the rest of the year I would go home and live in a thatched cottage. I would Teach English as a Foreign Language. I would be able to have a camper van and go away most weekends. It would be enjoyable to try out hang gliding and sailing a small boat.

Cruises are nice, but I find that you don't stay in one spot long enough to really get to know it. Still, stopping at lots of places and sampling them can give you an idea of places you might want to go back and spend more time at.

Money and guts, what would you do with it?
Hey Dawnald, well if I had the money and the guts I would become a professional singer. I feel like I already have the guts and a natural talent to sing but the money is another story. I would pay for some singing lessons for one sure and studio time. Then travel the world and share my extraordinary gift with everyone. Thanks for posting, happy mylot!

I used to think of this a lot. What if i have lots of money and what will i do with it?
Well, I'd be out of the country, i'll go to places where i wanna be. I will eat all the delicious food that i never had and only watched it on tv. I will buy a car and a car and a car. I will invest some of the money in businesses so that i'll never run out of it. And... Ooh, I have lot of things i wanna do if... only i have the money. =D
