Hello mylotters,
Well, my question in this thread is how much does our thoughts effects our realities or our future.
In our life, we have all gone through good moments and bad moments. And mostly what happens is that when we are in good mood, it seems as if everything is good, the world around you seems to be enjoying with you and you are enjoying it. And many good things come up in series. Its just like you are in perfect alignment with the world around you.
Similarly, when you are in bad mood, then everything comes to be bad. Like when you are angry, then the things start to come up making you angry even more and more. Bad things come up in series on and on...
Basically there are two types of feeling only, good and bad. Happiness, enjoyment, love etc lies in good feelings and hate, angryness, boredom etc lies in bad feelings.
Do you believe that your thoughts, your moods are responsible for whatever comes to you? If yes, then why not always choose good feelings? Why not dominate bad feelings with good feelings? Why not dominate angryness with love?
What do you think?

the people basically have a complicate mode in the reality word, it is very difficul to say accurately that the poeple have happy mood in the word and the same case as the bad mood, the people are always lying in between mix the good mood up the bad mood.i have minds of such this case. it is better to make change me into the reason situation, what is the level of reasonable situation, i think the people who have the reasonable situation can deal with things in the rule of the natual things itself, whatever in things or dealing with people. in one words,it is rule to work accord to the regular pattern. then your mood can not connect with the things around yours.

Hello pxm!!! Well it is true that there is no moment in our life when we are hundred percent happy or hundred percents said. it is always the mix of both. But it is possible to dominate the bad feelings or thoughts by the good ones. Like filling the hatred with love within yourself, then the world around you will change, your mood will change. And this will definitely helps in dealing rationally with various situations that comes up in life, maintaining the relationships.
Thanks for you response...happy mylotting...

Hello Nzalheart
some people believe so , and if you read the book "The Secret" or watched its movie you will see how much those people believe that all what happens to us is the result of our way of thinking , if we are thinking positively then all what happens to us will be positive and the same way back
Now in psychiatry it is not true ; it is called magical thinking and it is a sign of psychosis , and it needs treatment .
for me I believe that what our thoughts push us to do things , these things are based on the thought content , it could be positive or negative , but the result is not always guaranteed , but most likely it will follow the way we are thinking because it is well or unwell prepared .
Have a nice time

Hello YazEid, well I watch some sort of similar videos on Youtube, not the whole moive. I think it was a documentary. People say this on the basis of quantum physics. I think I am in 75-80 percent to this belief. I don't whether it is mental effect or really something goes on nice when I am in good mode.
But I am really sure that thoughts and emotions are powerful tools than we have imagined. Actually I believe, it is our thoughts because of which we are else, else we would not have been existed.

nzakheart,
Our lives are what we think they are. Our thoughts are whatever our reality is because it is in our thoughts that reality exists. The ups and downs of our moods are indeed affecting all of our lives, because they exist, as we do, in our thoughts.

i bet you've heard the cliche that talks about the"power of the mind.' We tend to attract the bad situations we think about because we are inclined to do our thoughts.

Yes, I looked something like that. I have mentioned about also. I am referring it from the quantum physics. Yes, it says the same thing, bad thoughts attracts the bad feelings and good thoughts attracts good feelings. Here, the topic is do you believe it or not? So, what do you think?
I think it is 80% true...

I think this is sometimes true. It's just not possible to feel good all the time. This is especially true if you've been sick, are hurting with arthritis, etc. If somebody was mean to you, you can't help but feel bad yourself. However, you can turn the other cheek, if you know what I mean. Kathy.

Hello Cyrus!!!
Well the concept is to try to be happy, feel the happiness even if it is not there. The more sad or angry you become, it will lead to many such things happen on and on. So, the main theme is controlling our thoughts here. I know it would be difficult when it is said at once but with continuous control and practice, we can improve a lot. This way we can also make other people happy ...

This is true, too. I tend to worry a lot but I know it doesn't do any good. Sometimes we can't help it, though. I think at least that it shows that we care. If you worry too much, it can make you sick. I think the best thing to do is to think positive. You do have to be realistic, though. Happy mylotting. Kathy.

Yes Kathy,
Keeping thoughts clean doesn't mean bending away from the reality. If you do, its it, that will make you sad hehe...Just we have to learn to get self satisfied with every moments and feel its greatness, life will be happier then...

I have noticed this as well. When I am angry, it seems that all I can do is get angrier and angrier. Every little thing is something else that infuriates me. If I was in a better mood, the same things wouldn't look as bad.
When I am in a bad mood, I have to find a way to reset myself. I usually do this by laying down or sitting down and doing nothing. Doing something would only make me angry at what I am doing.
I wish I could think of this discussion every time I get mad. Then I wouldn't let these things affect me as much, but I know I won't be able to.

Hello relikie!!!
Well you seem to have lot of angryness feelings on you. I understand how does it feel. When you get angry with certain reason, then you start getting angry with every other thing.
And yes, laying down can be a good way to end up the angryness. Until when you have this feeling of angryness, it's very difficult to think out the positiveness.
So, learn to keep your mind to good tract.
Being angry is that type of feelings which don't remains for long time. Everything of it is gone. So, say to yourself whenever you get angry, that this is nothing. Keep smiling at yourself looking at the mirror, but don't get angry with yourself hehe...
Good luck...

Mind over matter? Yes, I think it 100% true, all reality is created in the mind. The "law of attraction" promotes this theory and I have seen nothing but positive evidence that what we think makes us what we are. If we believe our life will be miserable and that we are a failure, then that is what will happen, but if we truly believe that we deserve abundance and love and joy, then these are the things that will be present in our lives.
Great theory, just wish I could be more pro-active in applying it to my own life.

Hello Ritz100, Yes I am referring to the very thing, "The law of attraction." The physical reality is the creation of our mind. And like you said, there are many cases. Pessimistism leads to the failure and the optimistism leads to the success. Its like the spiritual or philosophical concepts being merged with the scientific aspects nowadays. Practice this technique more and more. Get control over your thoughts and control the world around you...good luck...

Hi Nzal, actually for most of us, sometimes our thoughts do affect the outcome, but not everytime.
No matter how happy or sad we are, no matter what mood we are, we can't change the weather, or change the occurrence of natural disasters. We can't even change the fact that a driver who is drunk is driving his car, and going to kill people.
That's beyond our control. We can only change our thinking to accept the bad that happens, and get on with life.
Sometimes our thoughts do affect the outcome, on those matters that are partly within our control. For example in job interview, when we feel confident and happy, we are likely to get the job offer.

Hello Scheng!!!
It is certain that we cannot change the appearance of the weather. But of course we can change the way of viewing the weather. The same weather can be interesting to a person and a gloomy to other depending upon his or her mood. And when the mood you good, you start liking every part of the nature and the nature seems as if it is adoring you. But what happens if you are feeling angry, the nature feels certainly gloomy and irritating...
It seems that natural calamities are beyond our control. But may be together we can make the difference. There are people thinking positive as well as negative things in this world at the sametime. What do you think will happen to this universe If each and every creature of this universe is thinking about the peace, peace and only peace, no any violence at all. Everything would certainly be great...But it seems as if we can only imagination...
Thanks for your response...Happy mylotting...

Hi Nzal, usually after surviving some disasters, when we are safe and sound, we will think different.
Those survivors of earthquakes will remember it forever, and years later, when they are old, they will sit on the rocking chairs, and tell their grandchildren how terrible earthquake was, and how brave they were to pull their friends/ relatives out, and how lucky they were to survive it.
